Each piece in the Bushido Collections has a hand forged iron wrapped high quality carbon steel blade that is extremely sharp. The wooden saya (scabbard) for each piece is finished with a deep black lacquer and Japanese cotton wrapped sageo and ito braid. The MC-3031, MC-3032 & MC-3035 all have authentic ray skin wrapped on the tsuka (handle). The MC-3033 & MC-3034 have simulated ray skin wrapped on the tsuka (handle). All have a one piece brass habaki (blade collar). These fully functional swords are aesthetically pleasing and can be disassembled for care and maintenance.
Each sword comes complete with a cleaning kit, hang tag, and a sateen sword bag for MC-3032 & MC-3035 and a cotton sword bag for MC-3031, MC-3033 & MC-3034.
