MASAHIRO KATANAS

Each blade in the Masahiro Series is hand forged and made of AISI 1045 or AISI 1060 carbon steel.  They have a one piece brass habaki (blade collar), authentic or simulated ray skin wrapped tsuka (handle) and bronze tsuba (guard).  The sageo and ito are woven from Japanese cotton.  The saya (scabbard) is finished with a deep black lacquer.

Each sword comes with a cotton sword bag for extra protection.

Sword is 41 1/2 inches overall length.

Blade length of 26 1/2 inches, hand forged and made of high carbon steel, full tang, pegged.

One piece brass blade collar and bronze Oda Nobunaga tsuba (guard).

Handle length of 11 1/2 inches with authentic ray skin wrap.  The sageo and ito are woven from Japanese cotton.

Scabbard is finished with a deep black lacquer.

Cotton sword bag for protection.
