All Ryumon Katanas have a hand forged
and folded AISI 1060 or AISI 1065 carbon steel blade meticulously crafted.
Heat treated with traditional processes to produce an extremely sharp ha (edge).
A one piece brass habaki (blade collar) enables the blade to fit securely into
the saya (scabbard). Authentic ray skin is used to wrap the tsuka
(handle) and then tied with Japanese cotton.

41 1/2 inches overall length.
Blade length of 29 inches, extremely sharp hand forged and folded AISI
1060 high carbon steel, full tang, pegged. A true hamon created with traditional Japanese
temper technique.
Handle length of 11 inches with authentic top grade ray skin wrap, tied
with Japanese cotton.
One piece brass blade collar and Akagane (red copper) tsuba (guard).
High gloss black lacquered saya (scabbard) with real ray skin textured.
Complete with collectors hang tag, satin sword bag, cleaning kit, reference guide,
and certificate of authenticity all packaged in a lacquered wooden box.

Mahogany wood saya (scabbard) with clear lacquered finish.
The blackened guard and the butt cap of this sword bear the Tokugawa Shogunate
Kamon
(family crest).
