RYUMON

All Ryumon Katanas have a hand forged and folded AISI 1060 or AISI 1065 carbon steel blade meticulously crafted.  Heat treated with traditional processes to produce an extremely sharp ha (edge).  A one piece brass habaki (blade collar) enables the blade to fit securely into the saya (scabbard).  Authentic ray skin is used to wrap the tsuka (handle) and then tied with Japanese cotton.
