6082 Aluminium

Kormax Aluminium Alloy 6061 contains silicon to lower melting temperature and improve fluidity, and magnesium to improve strength and strain hardening ability. It is one of the most commonly found aluminium alloys with a medium to high strength and is heat-treatable. Often used for structural and aerospace applications, it has particularly good corrosion resistance to atmospheric conditions and very good weldability although reduced strength in the weld zone.

7075 aluminium alloy (AA7075) is an aluminium alloy, with zinc as the primary alloying element. It has excellent mechanical properties and exhibits good ductility, high strength, toughness and good resistance to fatigue. It is one of the most commonly used aluminium alloys for highly stressed structural applications and has been extensively utilised in aircraft structural parts.
